NamePurge (NAMEPURG.EXE) is used to delete aliases for users no longer in
the user data base. It scans the alias files defined in the NameIndx.CFG file
(simple text format, one alias file per line, use full paths) and performs a
PCBNDX lookup on each real name in the file. If the name is found in the
PCBNDX search, it and it's alias are kept, if it is not found, the line is
deleted from the alias file.
NamePurg should be run in the event; if you are running NameIndx, it
should be run AFTER NamePurg.
NamePurg keeps copies of your original alias files with the same name, but
a .BAK extension. So if you need to restore them, they're there.
The format for calling NamePurg is:
NAMEPURG
As of version 1.5ß6 NamePurge requires NO parameters.
Simple huh? The file NameIndx.CFG MUST exist in the default directory, it
lists the various alias file names (full paths if appropriate).
